Facebook Messenger officially Launched for Apple Watch

Facebook updated its Messenger app for iOS with support for Apple's watch after giving a small trailer at the Hey
Siri Apple Watch event in September. The watch version of the messaging app in designed keeping in mind Watch OS2, the latest version of Apple’s software for the Apple Watch and delivers Messenger’s functionality into it.

The addition now allows users to respond to messages in a variety of ways from your wrist. You can send emojis, give a like, send and receive voice clips and also share your location from Apple Watch.

What’s New in Version 38.0
The latest version of Facebook Messenger for iOS (version 38.0) also lets you find Messenger contacts and conversations right from your iPhone's search screen. You'll also now be able to access Messenger from the list of multi-tasking apps on your iPad. Both of these features require iOS 9.

The Messenger currently holds more than 700 million monthly users globally and could turn the Apple Watch into a more serious communication device, giving users hands-free chat with friends rather than something you just look at.

The new version of Messenger is available now in the App Store. Click here to download Facebook Messenger for iOS in the App Store.
