Back in September 2013, YouTube has made a big announcement. An update will allow users to download videos to watch offline on your daily commute, or anywhere you don't have an internet connection.

• The major advantage over this watch for offline feature is, we can save lots of mobile data without running out of it.
• To be able to view YouTube videos offline, you need to have the videos saved on your device. File sizes are shown to make sure you have adequate space for your videos to store them in your device.
• You can choose to download the videos either in standard definition or High Definition.

After your video finished downloading, you can find the video in the Offline section of the YouTube app. It may sound complicated, but the steps are quite simple.

1. Go to your phone’s Home screen.
2. Open Mobile YouTube App then Search for the video that you want to save. Play the video by tapping on it.
3. When you are watching videos, a download prompt will appear above the Subscribe button.
4. From there, you can choose to download the videos in either standard definition or high definition ( in this case HD is 720p)
5. After your video finishes downloading, it can be found in the offline section of the YouTube app.
